This is another one of those small sealing washers to insure that all of the cooling air is flowing over the engine and not out the open holes! order all of the other sealing washers at the same time like the spark plugs and the oil pressure switch grommet.
Thermostat o-ring; 924 1976-85. An improperly working thermostat can cause excessive cooling system back pressure and a hot-running condition. Thermostats are usually the first cooling system part to fail and are the least expensive to repair.

If you are wondering about the transmission dope leak in between the engine and the transmission it is the front main seal. easily replaced with the transmission removed with a small seal puller, the new part does not have the additional lip of the old originally installed part.
